About Radiant Health Services

Radiant Health Services is a sober living operator in Marion, Indiana, running certified recovery housing in Grant County as part of its work as a Community Mental Health Center. It formed in 2022 when Grant Blackford Mental Health, founded in 1940, merged with Family Services Society, founded in 1919, and rebranded as Radiant Health in 2023.

Radiant Health works directly with local courts and probation services to support residents moving out of the justice system and back into the community, a coordination that a standalone sober house without a clinical parent organization typically cannot offer at the same scale.

DMHA Contract and Designation

Radiant Health is under contract with Indiana's Division of Mental Health and Addiction, and its recovery housing carries Level III designation on the state's DMHA Recovery Residence list. Both records give a resident or referring agency a way to check the organization's standing before a placement.

Between its two predecessor organizations, Radiant Health represents more than 180 combined years of mental health work in Grant and Blackford counties, giving it a depth of local relationships and referral sources that a newer organization would still be building.

Referrals and applications go through Radiant Health directly, and the organization asks for 24 to 48 hours to respond to an inquiry. Worthwhile questions include how a court or probation referral is processed, what the three-phase program expects at each stage, and how clinical therapy is scheduled alongside the housing.
