About Kennebec House

Kennebec House operates two Level II recovery residences in Augusta, Maine, certified by the Maine Association of Recovery Residences (MARR). These male-only sober living homes provide structured, peer-supported environments for men committed to overcoming substance use disorders. The program emphasizes community, accountability, and the development of life skills to support lasting recovery.​

Operator Description

  • Operators: Mike Pomerleau and Justin Healy

  • Certification: MARR-certified Level II recovery residences

  • Established: 113 Bridge Street opened in February 2023; 13 Franklin Street opened in July 2024​

Both owners have personal experience in recovery, which informs their empathetic and supportive approach to managing the residences. They are actively involved in the day-to-day operations and provide guidance to residents.​
