Journey House is a sober living operator based in Taunton, Massachusetts, running nine certified recovery homes across Bristol and Plymouth counties. Gail Buie-Yelle has built the network from a single Taunton address into four men's houses and five women's houses concentrated in Taunton, Bridgewater and Middleborough, all certified at NARR Level II by the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing.

Journey House is a housing organization, not a treatment provider. Each house supplies a manager, a structured routine and a stable address, while residents keep their own outpatient providers, sponsors and meetings elsewhere. Journey House runs the following residences:

• Harrison Street and Prospect Street, in Taunton, for women, plus a second Harrison Street address for women.

• Bedford Street and Springhill Avenue, in Bridgewater, for men.
• The School Street house and a second School Street address, in Bridgewater, for women.
• Peirce Street, in Middleborough, for men.

Separate Men's and Women's Sober Houses

Every Journey House residence is single-gender. Men fill four houses across Taunton, Bridgewater and Middleborough, and women fill five across Taunton and Bridgewater. Keeping the split at the house level means rules, meetings and shared space are written for one population in every building.

MASH Sober Living Certification Across Every Address

All nine Journey House residences are certified at NARR Level II by the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing, the state's NARR affiliate. MASH grants certification address by address, so a family checking a specific location can confirm it directly. An operator that carries certification on its whole portfolio has committed to a published code of ethics and an outside complaint process at every house it runs.

A Consistent Weekly Structure at Every Sober House

Journey House applies the same core expectations at every address: a live-in house manager, three twelve-step meetings a week plus a mandatory daily house meeting, an active sponsor, urine testing twice a week, shared chores, and daily work toward something productive, whether a job, a day program or volunteering. Residents are expected to stay active in Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous throughout their stay.
