About Inspiration Ministries, Inc.

Inspiration Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based sober living operator headquartered in Auburn, Indiana, running more than 100 recovery beds across Northeast Indiana. The nonprofit operates certified recovery residences in Auburn, Kendallville and Butler, and is also a state-certified addiction services provider running its own clinical and peer recovery staff.

A Christ-Based Recovery and Reentry Provider

Inspiration Ministries runs a nine-month residential recovery and reentry program built around four phases: an initial 45-day period of clinical intake, a second 45-day phase focused on employment and driver's license restoration, a 90-day phase building recovery capital through peer support, and a final 90-day phase preparing residents for graduation. The organization treats spiritual transformation as one of six core focus areas alongside addiction recovery, family reconciliation, career building, financial responsibility and driving restoration.

Six Recovery Residences in Noble and DeKalb Counties

Inspiration Ministries operates the following certified recovery residences across two Indiana counties:

  • Victory Village, on South Main Street in Kendallville, Level IV, for men.
  • A recovery residence on County Road 22 in Kendallville, Level IV.
  • Depot House, at 411 Depot Street in Butler, Level II.
  • Depot House, at 417 Depot Street in Butler, Level II.
  • Mercy House, on West Main Street in Butler, Level II.
  • Grace House, on North Broadway Street in Butler, Level IV, for women.

The organization also operates additional recovery and supportive housing properties in its home city of Auburn that fall outside this list.

Certification Across Multiple Levels

Inspiration Ministries holds both Level II and Level IV certification through the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences across its portfolio, reflecting different degrees of on-site clinical staffing suited to where a resident is in the program. INARR certifies at all four NARR levels, and an operator running properties at more than one level can move a resident to a different level of structure without leaving the organization.

Grant-Funded Growth in Northeast Indiana

State recovery housing grants have supported Inspiration Ministries' expansion in recent years, including funding that helped the organization add certified beds in Kendallville. That public investment reflects the scale of the organization's operation, now well past 100 residential beds across its Northeast Indiana properties.

Serving Men and Women Separately Across the Portfolio

Inspiration Ministries keeps men's and women's housing separate at the property level. Victory Village and the organization's Depot Street and Main Street properties in Butler house men, while Grace House serves women exclusively, a structure that lets house rules, meetings and shared space stay built for one population at each address.

Recovery Housing for Northeast Indiana

Auburn, Kendallville and Butler sit inside DeKalb and Noble counties, a rural stretch of Northeast Indiana with few comparable recovery housing networks. Inspiration Ministries' concentration of properties across three towns gives residents from smaller surrounding communities a faith-based recovery option without requiring a move to Fort Wayne or Indianapolis.
