About Hope Street

Hope Street is a nonprofit sober living operator serving women in the Walla Walla Valley in southeastern Washington, running two certified recovery homes in the city of Walla Walla.

A Faith-Rooted, Values-Driven Operator

Hope Street organizes its work around five stated principles: integrity, community, safety, compassion and hope. The organization describes its purpose as giving women a safe home, a community and support as they build toward long-term recovery, with residents engaging willingly in that process.

Two Sober Homes in Walla Walla

Hope Street runs the Hope Street House and the Hope Street Grad Home, both in Walla Walla and both reserved for women. The Grad Home gives a resident who has completed the structure of the first house somewhere to continue building independence without leaving the organization or the community she already knows.

501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status

Hope Street operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, funding its work through donations and community support alongside resident fees. That structure is a public record a family can check before choosing a recovery housing provider for a loved one from outside the area.

Certification Through Washington's NARR Affiliate

Hope Street's housing is certified through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, which requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules, and an outside complaint process for any residence it certifies.

Serving the Walla Walla Valley

Hope Street works from Walla Walla, the county seat and service hub of southeastern Washington's wine country. That location puts the organization close to the courts, outpatient providers and community resources the valley's smaller towns rely on, giving it a base to serve women moving between its two homes and from across the region.
