About Hoff Foundation
The Hoff Foundation is a Snohomish County, Washington nonprofit that runs New Creation Communities, a certified sober living program for women, alongside a broader set of services for women and children affected by homelessness, trafficking, abuse and addiction. Its two recovery homes serve Marysville and together house up to twenty women in recovery.
A Snohomish County Recovery Housing Provider
The Hoff Foundation was founded by Judy Hoff around a mission of breaking the cycle that leads to sex trafficking, compromised mental health, abuse, addiction, homelessness and trauma in women and children. New Creation Communities, its recovery housing arm, is one part of that mission, and it operates alongside a day center and a program that helps women prepare for work with professional clothing and grooming.
Two Certified Homes for Women in Marysville
The Hoff Foundation operates two sober living homes in Marysville under the New Creation Communities name, both certified and both serving women exclusively. Together the two houses provide life skills classes, recovery groups, counseling and mentorship, with a mentor case manager assigned to build an individualized plan for each resident.
WAQRR Certification and What It Establishes
Both Hoff Foundation recovery homes are certified through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, the state's NARR affiliate. Certification is voluntary in Washington, and it commits a house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and a written relapse and discharge policy that an outside body can review.
Serving Women Coming Out of Homelessness, Trauma and Addiction
The Hoff Foundation's recovery homes are built for women whose path into housing instability runs through more than one cause at once: homelessness, incarceration, abuse, addiction and trauma frequently overlap in the population the organization serves. That is reflected in how the two homes are staffed, with a mentor case manager working alongside each resident, since a single fixed program track would not fit.
Part of a Larger Network of Support in Snohomish County
Beyond its two recovery homes, the Hoff Foundation runs Esther's Place, a day center in Snohomish County offering showers, meals, clothing and connections to other resources, and a weekly church gathering. A woman entering one of the two New Creation Communities homes is entering an organization built around more than housing alone, which matters for anyone who needs more than a bed and a set of house rules to get stable.
