About DarJune Foundation
DarJune Foundation is a sober living operator in Green Bay, Wisconsin, running recovery housing across Brown County through its Expedition Recovery Housing program. The nonprofit pairs its four residences with recovery coaching, peer specialist services and counseling delivered through its own Recovery Academy.
A Green Bay Recovery Housing Provider
DarJune Foundation is more than a landlord. Housing is one piece of a broader recovery-centered model that includes coaching, peer support and education, and residents can draw on that network regardless of which of the foundation's houses they live in.
Four Sober Homes in Green Bay
- Derge House for Men, in Green Bay.
- Troy Thomas Relapse and Respite House, in Green Bay.
- Mitchell Ranck Respite House, in Green Bay.
- Spoehr House for Women, in Green Bay.
All four sit in Brown County's largest city, which keeps a resident's outpatient providers, job and transit route unchanged if a move between houses becomes necessary.
Serving Men and Women Separately
DarJune Foundation splits its houses by gender and by purpose: Derge House serves men, Spoehr House serves women, and Troy Thomas and Mitchell Ranck operate as respite housing for people stabilizing after a relapse, not a first placement out of treatment.
Recovery Coaching and a Recovery Academy
Beyond housing, DarJune Foundation runs recovery coaching, peer specialist services, counseling and a Recovery Academy offering education and trauma-informed training. That combination is what separates a recovery housing provider from a landlord simply renting rooms to people in early sobriety.
A Brown County Recovery Housing Network
Green Bay is the seat of Brown County and the commercial center of northeastern Wisconsin, home to Bellin Health, HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and the Green Bay Metro bus system. DarJune Foundation's four houses sit inside that same network, which is why the foundation's model leans so heavily on services available in the city itself.
