CORE Recovery
About CORE Recovery
CORE Recovery is a sober living operator based in Springfield, Missouri, running certified recovery housing across southwest Missouri, including a second location in Branson.
A Southwest Missouri Recovery Housing Provider
CORE Recovery describes itself as a supportive services program offering safe, affordable housing to people working to leave substance addiction behind. Its own materials frame stable housing as the foundation for self-esteem, a healthy routine and the ability to manage day-to-day recovery.
Two Sober Living Locations Under CORE Recovery
CORE Recovery runs the following homes:
- The Core Recovery, on West Farm Road 182 in Springfield, for women.
- CORE Branson House, on State Highway T in Branson, coed.
Serving Both Men and Women Across Two Cities
CORE Recovery's Springfield house is women-only, while its Branson location houses both men and women. That split gives the operator a broader intake footprint across southwest Missouri than a single-gender, single-city program would.
What Program Requirements Establish at CORE Homes
Residents are expected to maintain abstinence, pursue a GED if needed, meet twelve-step program requirements, secure employment and take part in household management, with mental health counseling and emergency dental care made available through the operator.
Springfield and Branson Recovery Housing
Springfield is the seat of Greene County and the regional hub of southwest Missouri, while Branson, in Taney County, draws a different population tied to the area's tourism-driven job market. Running houses in both gives CORE Recovery access to two distinct labor markets within roughly forty miles of each other.
