Coram Deo Recovery is a faith-informed, trauma-responsive sober living program for women, based in New Britain, Connecticut. Founded by Jody Davis, the organization operates five recovery homes accommodating up to 52 women and children. Coram Deo provides structured, long-term housing with a focus on dignity, community, and individualized support. The program is overseen by a dedicated team, including Sara Piatti, a former resident who now serves on the Board of Directors after obtaining multiple certifications in recovery support. 

Key Features:

• Level Type: Level II (structured sober living with peer support and house management)

• Genders Served: Women and women with children

• Key Features:

  • Residences are monitored by 4–5 staff members, including volunteers

  • 24-hour on-call access to staff for emergencies

  • Each bedroom is equipped with a bed, dresser, mirror, nightstand, and lighting

  • Laundry facilities are available in each home

  • Residents are required to participate in house meetings and chores

  • Access to a food pantry for current and former residents

  • Referrals made for daily AA/NA meetings, job programs, social services, and substance abuse treatment programs

Recovery Model:

Coram Deo Recovery utilizes a faith-informed approach, integrating 12-step recovery principles with trauma-informed care. While rooted in Christian values, participation in religious activities is optional, and the program welcomes individuals of all faiths or none.
