All three carry a Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs license as a recovery house under Act 59 of 2017, which is voluntary in Pennsylvania and not held by every comparable home in the state.

Separate Houses for Men and Women

Condor House splits its houses by gender at the address level. The two Penn Avenue houses serve men, and the Line Lexington Road house serves women, so nobody shares a bathroom, bedroom or house meeting with a resident of the opposite gender.

Licensed Recovery Housing Under Act 59

Pennsylvania does not require every recovery house to hold a Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs license, which makes the choice to carry one across all three addresses notable. The Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences is the state's separate NARR affiliate, and an operator that also holds that certification typically says so on its own materials.

All three Condor House addresses sit within Hatfield Township, between Lansdale and Montgomeryville in Montgomery County. That location keeps residents close to the Route 309 corridor, SEPTA's regional rail service, and the outpatient providers concentrated along it.
