About Casa Joliska Foundation

Casa Joliska Foundation is a Washington 501(c)(3) sober living operator running four certified men's recovery homes in Lacey and Olympia.

A Mission-Driven Thurston County Operator

Casa Joliska Foundation describes its work as providing safe, shared housing for people who often fall through the cracks of other systems: veterans, young adults aging out of foster care, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people recovering from substance use disorder. That range of populations shapes a housing model built on stability first, with recovery support organized around whoever moves in.

Six Homes in Lacey and Olympia

Casa Joliska Foundation operates four certified men's homes in Thurston County: four in Lacey, run under the names Kenrick Home and Donny Boy House, and two in Olympia, run under the name Plymouth. Some of these houses carry more than one unit under the same name as the foundation has added capacity at an existing address.

Level 2 Certification Across the Portfolio

All four Casa Joliska Foundation homes carry Level 2 certification through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences. WAQRR certifies house by house, so an operator carrying the designation on every home it runs has committed its entire Thurston County footprint to a published code of ethics and outside complaint review.

Leadership Behind the Foundation

Casa Joliska Foundation is run by Jodi and Saul Negrete, who built the organization around the idea that shared housing can serve several overlapping vulnerable populations under one roof.

Serving Thurston County

Lacey and Olympia sit next to each other in Thurston County, and together they hold most of the county's population, courts and outpatient treatment providers. A resident moving between Casa Joliska Foundation's six houses stays inside that same service area regardless of which one he lives in.
