Brisan Recovery Housing opened its first Rhode Island recovery residence in 2003 and has grown into a network of ten houses. The company is led by a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with two decades in recovery housing, who has served on the board of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences and chaired or vice-chaired the Ocean State Coalition of Recovery Housing between 2010 and 2023.
