A Men's Sober House in Yakima

This sober living home in Yakima serves men in recovery, and the single-gender household is deliberate: bathrooms, common space and the house meeting are shared by one population, and one set of expectations applies to everyone living there. Yakima is the seat of Yakima County and the commercial hub of the Yakima Valley, which gives residents access to work, meetings and appointments without leaving the area they already know. The specific street address for Kennedy's Place - Pacific House 2 is not published, and anyone interested in placement should reach Kennedy's Place directly.

What WAQRR Level 2 Certification Establishes

Certification through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, commits a house to standards a prospective resident can actually verify. The operator agrees to a published code of ethics, discloses rules and fees before move-in, and keeps a written policy for handling relapse and discharge. Level 2 describes a peer-supported home with structured expectations and outside clinical referral, and does not provide on-site treatment. Certification with WAQRR in Washington is voluntary, so it reflects a choice Kennedy's Place made for Kennedy's Place - Pacific House 2 and every home it runs, not a requirement the state imposes.

Recovery Housing in Yakima County

Yakima sits in Yakima County, and Yakima Transit operates fixed bus routes across the city. For someone rebuilding a daily routine after treatment, that kind of regional transit connection often matters more than the address of the house itself: it is what turns a job, a meeting schedule or an outpatient appointment into something reachable without a car.

Kennedy's Place Recovery Homes Across Washington

Kennedy's Place - Pacific House 2 is one of more than twenty sober living homes that Kennedy's Place operates in Washington, spanning Snohomish County, the Yakima Valley and the Wenatchee area. The organization's stated goal has been to keep adding homes at a steady pace, and running a house within that larger network means a resident who needs a different setting, or simply a fresh start, can raise it with an operator that already knows them instead of starting over with someone new.
