WHO-PL1 is a Level 2 certified men's sober living home in Tacoma, Washington, in Pierce County, one of two Tacoma houses that Wheeler Housing Opportunity operates.

A Second Certified Men's House in Tacoma

Wheeler Housing Opportunity runs WHO-PL1 alongside a second Tacoma property, giving the organization flexibility to place men in either house or move a resident between them without leaving the city. Both operate on the same clean and sober housing model the organization applies statewide.

Level 2 Certification Through WAQRR

WHO-PL1 is certified at Level 2 by the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences. That level describes peer-managed sober housing with structured expectations, and it commits the house to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and an outside complaint process.

Program Standards

Residents at WHO-PL1 follow the same requirements as every Wheeler Housing Opportunity house: frequent drug and alcohol testing, required attendance at recovery meetings, a curfew and peer support, in a furnished home with utilities and internet covered.

Tacoma and Pierce County Recovery Housing

As Pierce County's seat, Tacoma gives WHO-PL1 residents access to the county's courts, outpatient treatment and public transit without traveling outside the city.
