Silverlake House is a men's sober living home in Everett, Washington, in Snohomish County, and the newest of the five houses run by Vision Hope Center. It operates at Level 2 certification with the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, matching the standard the organization holds across its Everett homes.

A Men's Sober House Near Silver Lake

Silverlake House takes its name from the Everett neighborhood it sits in, on the city's southeast side near Silver Lake itself. The area is residential and quieter than downtown Everett, and it still sits inside Community Transit's coverage area, so a resident can reach work, meetings and appointments without needing his own car in the first months.

Level 2 Certification Through WAQRR

Certification in Washington runs through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and it is a voluntary standard, not a legal requirement. A Level 2 house has agreed to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules before move-in, and outside review of any complaint. Silverlake House runs on the same peer-managed model as Vision Hope Center's other four houses: structure and accountability among residents, with no live-in clinical staff.

The Fifth House in Vision Hope Center's Network

Silverlake House rounds out a five-house network that includes Ruth House, Zachaeus House, Jeremiah House and Hannah House, all within Everett. The organization runs its housing on a discipleship model for people coming out of incarceration, treatment or homelessness, and a resident who needs to change houses can do it inside a network the organization already manages.

Snohomish County Resources Within Reach

Everett is the seat of Snohomish County, and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, the county courthouse and a broad base of outpatient treatment providers are all inside city limits. A resident of Silverlake House can reach any of them without leaving Everett.
