A Men's Sober House on Club Drive

The Clubhouse Sober Living admits men only and requires residents to be actively working a 12-step program. The operator, also called Clubhouse Sober Living, runs the house as a community of independently living men, and it is explicit that it does not function as a boarding house.

Accountability Among Residents

The house's model puts the weight of daily structure on the residents themselves: attending meetings, holding a sponsor relationship, and supporting the other men in the house. That peer-driven model is common in Texas sober living, where certification and licensure are both voluntary and most houses run on house culture more than outside supervision.

San Antonio anchors Bexar County and South Central Texas, and Club Drive's residential setting keeps this house close to the meetings, outpatient care and job opportunities concentrated in the city without requiring residents to travel far.

A Companion House Nearby

Clubhouse Sober Living also runs The Clubhouse, a separate men's residence close by on the same street. Someone applying to one house is effectively applying to the operator's small San Antonio network, and a transfer between the two is a conversation with people who already know the resident.

ABOUT US We are not a boarding house or special needs facility. We are a group of men who live independently in a semi-controlled environment. Our residents will be adult alcoholics and addicts who are motivated to continue their recovery, committed to staying sober, and agree to remain accountable to others in their active recovery program. The Clubhouse was opened in 2010 at 431 Club Drive.  In 2018, a 2nd house was acquired at 435 Club Dr.  With renovations we've added a total of 22 beds between both houses. ​
