About this Recovery Home
Fresh Start Christian Sober Living is a men's sober living home in McKinney, Texas, in Collin County. The house runs a Christ-centered recovery program built around Celebrate Recovery, with a mission its founders describe simply as helping men recover through Christ.
A Men's Sober House in McKinney
Fresh Start serves men only, and every rule in the house flows from its faith-based mission: structure, accountability and a community built around a shared program. Residents are expected to buy into the Christian framework as a condition of staying.
Daily Structure at This Christian Recovery Home
The house holds residents to a weekly 14-panel drug test, a nightly breathalyzer, mandatory house cleaning chores and classes on finances and life skills. A zero-tolerance policy covers substance use and a zero-theft policy covers house property, and both are enforced without exception.
Faith as the Foundation of Recovery Here
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered twelve-step curriculum, anchors the weekly programming. Residents attend it alongside the house's own meetings, and the combination is the core distinction between Fresh Start and a secular sober house running the same basic rules.
Partnerships That Support Fresh Start Residents
Fresh Start works with local intensive outpatient providers, treatment centers, courts and probation departments, which means a resident referred through the justice system or a treatment program is arriving somewhere already used to coordinating with those referral sources.
Sober Living in Collin County
McKinney is the seat of Collin County in North Texas, and Fresh Start's founders describe plans to expand their Christ-centered housing model into Collin, Denton and Grayson counties as the organization grows beyond its current McKinney and Frisco footprint.
