Shurrun's House Coed Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

Shurrun's House is a coed sober living home on Teagarden Court in Dallas, Texas, in Dallas County. The residence operates independently, and its former website no longer belongs to the program.

A Coed Sober House on Teagarden Court

Shurrun's House houses both men and women, a structure that requires more from a house's rules than a single-gender program does: separate sleeping and bathroom arrangements by gender, and one set of shared expectations that has to work for everyone regardless of who else is in the house that month.

Recovery Housing in South Dallas

Teagarden Court sits in South Dallas, within Dallas County, the seat of which is Dallas itself, keeping residents within reach of the county's courts, outpatient clinics and public transit corridors.

What a Coed Sober Living Home Settles

A coed house has to answer a question a single-gender house does not: how men and women share a kitchen, a living room and a set of house meetings without either group being an afterthought. A well-run coed house writes that answer down before anyone moves in.

What to Ask Before Moving Into This Dallas Sober House

With no current public program details available, ask directly how bedrooms and bathrooms are split by gender, what the weekly fee covers, whether a house manager lives on site, and what the relapse policy is.
