About this Recovery House

Jasmine Road is a certified women's recovery program in Greenville, South Carolina, the seat of Greenville County, serving survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution and addiction. Its two single-family homes house thirteen women, with two transitional studio apartments alongside them, and the program runs eighteen to twenty four months. Addresses are not published.

A Long-Term Women's Recovery Residence for Survivors

Two years is an unusual length for recovery housing, and for this population it is the point. Women coming out of trafficking and prostitution carry trauma, criminal records, medical needs and severed family ties that a ninety day stay cannot touch. A program built to hold someone for two years is designed around what recovery from that actually takes.

Thirteen Beds and a Step Into Independent Living

The published capacity is thirteen women across two homes, with two transitional studio-style apartments in addition. That structure creates an internal step down: a survivor moves from a shared household into her own studio while still inside the program and still connected to the same staff and peers. The move out of recovery housing is where many people fail, and building that step into the program removes the cliff.

Recovery Housing for Trafficking Survivors in the Upstate

Interstate 85 through Greenville is a recognized trafficking corridor, and specialized housing for survivors in South Carolina is close to nonexistent outside a handful of programs. A certified residence with a two year runway, a defined bed count and its own transitional apartments is a rare asset for advocates and law enforcement trying to place someone safely.

What Certification Establishes for This Sober Living Program

Certification through the state affiliate commits the homes to written fees and rules, a code of ethics, a written relapse and discharge policy, and complaints reviewed outside the residence. Some forms of medication-assisted treatment are accepted. Applications are taken online.
