About this Sober House

Hope is Alive Recovery Home TW2 is a women's sober living home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in Tulsa County. Ten women live here, and the house carries Level 2 certification from the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources.

A Women's Sober House on the Broken Arrow Side of the Tulsa Metro

TW2 is the only women's house Hope is Alive runs inside Broken Arrow itself. The ministry's other women's home in the region, TW1, sits across the metro in neighboring Bixby. Broken Arrow's own residential blocks and commercial corridors give TW2 a footprint separate from Tulsa proper, even though the two cities share one metro job market and one set of twelve-step clubhouses.

Ten Beds and a Smaller Sober Living Household

Ten beds keeps TW2 among the smaller houses in the Hope is Alive network. Most bedrooms are shared between two women, each given a bed with new bedding, a dresser, a nightstand and a lamp, along with roughly four feet of closet space and a marked share of the kitchen. A sobriety coach assigned to the house knows every resident's situation without needing it explained twice.

OKARR Certification and Why It Is Voluntary at This Recovery Home

Oklahoma law exempts standalone recovery residences from mandatory certification, which makes TW2's Level 2 listing with the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources a choice the operator made voluntarily. OKARR is the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and certification commits the house to a published code of ethics, written fees and rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and outside review of complaints.

One Women's Recovery Home in Broken Arrow, One in Bixby

Hope is Alive's Tulsa-area women's housing runs on two addresses: TW2 in Broken Arrow and TW1 in Bixby. A woman applying to the region is considered for both, and moving between them stays inside the same coaching relationship.

Work, School and the First Month in This Sober House

The ministry expects full-time work, school or steady volunteering within three weeks of move-in, thirty twelve-step meetings in the first thirty days, and a sponsor within six months. A Monday Bible study holds for the first six months, a Wednesday curriculum session runs weekly, and a Sunday speaker meeting is required throughout the stay. Testing is sixteen-panel, at intake and at random afterward.

Recovery Housing in Broken Arrow and the Wider Tulsa Metro

Broken Arrow has grown large enough to run its own school district, its own retail base and its own downtown Rose District, separate from the city it borders. Hope is Alive markets its Tulsa-area houses, TW2 included, to residents from as far as Owasso, Glenpool, Sand Springs, Catoosa, Skiatook, Muskogee and Collinsville, all inside the same regional program.
