Spring Valley Schoolhouse Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Spring Valley Schoolhouse is a men's sober living home in Spring Valley, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Greene County. It is certified at the Supervised level and holds forty-four beds.

Ohio's Largest DeCoach Sober Living Home

Forty-four beds makes this the largest of the seven certified houses DeCoach Recovery Center operates, larger than Fairborn House and more than double the size of any Hamilton residence. A house this size operates with defined staff roles and structured daily programming.

A Sober Living Home for Men in Rural Greene County

Spring Valley is a small village in Greene County, between the larger communities of Xenia and Waynesville, and the house serves a rural stretch of the county that the operator's other locations, in Hamilton and Fairborn, do not reach.

Supervised-Level Certification for This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing certification requires a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed in writing before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that runs outside the house. The Supervised level places staff oversight above a Managed-level house.

Applying to This Spring Valley Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Ask how the forty-four beds are organized, what the weekly fee covers, and how a complaint reaches someone outside the house.
