First Ave Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

First Ave is a men's sober living home in Middletown, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Managed level and serving Butler County. It houses fourteen residents.

A Fourteen-Bed Sober Home for Men

Fourteen beds makes First Ave one of the larger residences Freya's Healing House operates, and the Managed level's staff oversight is part of what keeps a household this size workable, alongside the peer structure residents build among themselves.

What Managed Certification Requires of a Recovery Residence

Certification means peer-managed housing with staff oversight and structured daily expectations, with clinical treatment coming from providers outside the house. Ohio Recovery Housing also requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a complaint process outside the house.
