Oak Street Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Rise Up Recovery Inc. operates Oak Street, a women's sober living home in Marion, Ohio, seat of Marion County, certified at the Managed level.

A Six-Bed Women's Recovery Residence

Six women live at Oak Street, a size that keeps the household close-knit. Managed certification means peer leadership runs daily structure under regular staff oversight, and residents continue seeing their own outside counselors and prescribers.

What Certification Requires of This Sober House

Ohio Recovery Housing ties certification to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of the house. Oak Street carries each of those obligations as a condition of its certified status.

Marion County Recovery Housing and Local History

Marion is the seat of Marion County and home to the Harding Home presidential site and OhioHealth Marion General Hospital, giving residents access to hospital care and a walkable downtown. The Tri-Rivers Career Center and Marion's manufacturing base support employment for residents rebuilding a work history.

Applying to Oak Street, a Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Ask what the weekly fee covers, how the relapse and discharge policy is applied, and whether a transfer to one of the operator's other Marion homes is possible.
