Malta Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Malta is a men's sober living home in Malta, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Supervised level and serving Morgan County. The home is wheelchair accessible and houses twenty-four residents.

A Large Supervised Sober Home for Men

Twenty-four beds makes this the largest residence REACH for Tomorrow operates, and the Supervised level's higher degree of on-site staff presence and structure is built for a household at that scale, with clinical treatment handled by outside providers.

Wheelchair-Accessible Recovery Housing

The residence is wheelchair accessible, a feature that matters directly to a resident whose mobility needs would otherwise rule out group housing of this size.

Certification Standards for This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing certification requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that runs outside the house.

Sober Living Across the Muskingum River From McConnelsville

Malta sits in Morgan County directly across the Muskingum River from McConnelsville, the county seat, in Ohio's rural southeast. REACH for Tomorrow also operates certified housing in Ross and Pike counties nearby.

Applying to This Malta Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through REACH for Tomorrow. With twenty-four beds, ask specifically how rooms are assigned, what daily structure looks like, and how a complaint is handled outside the house.
