Big House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Big House is a men's sober living home in Hamilton, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Butler County. It is certified at the Supervised level and holds twenty beds.

Big House, the Largest DeCoach Sober Home in Hamilton

Twenty beds makes this the largest of DeCoach Recovery Center's four Hamilton houses, ahead of Hamilton's Hope, Middle House and Little House in that order. The name matches its place in the operator's own naming ladder for the city.

What Supervised-Level Certification Requires of This Recovery Residence

Certification through Ohio Recovery Housing requires a published code of ethics, fees and rules disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that runs outside the house. The Supervised level places staff oversight above what a Managed-level house provides.

Hamilton and Butler County Recovery Housing

Hamilton is the seat of Butler County government along the Great Miami River, with the Butler County Court of Common Pleas and Miami University's Hamilton campus both in the city, and regional transit linking Hamilton to the wider Cincinnati area.

Applying to This Hamilton Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Ask how the twenty beds are organized, what the weekly fee covers, and how a complaint reaches someone outside the house.
