About this Recovery House

Nova Beckman House is a men's sober living home in Dayton, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and situated on Beckman Street in Montgomery County.

A Small Men's Sober House on Beckman Street

Three beds makes this the smallest residence Nova Behavioral Health Inc. runs in Dayton, and it shares its Beckman Street address with the operator's larger coed house next door. The small scale keeps the household tight: three men share meetings, bathrooms and common space, all held to the Managed certification level.

What Managed Certification Requires of This Recovery Home

Certification through Ohio Recovery Housing means a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed before move-in, a written policy on relapse and discharge, and a complaint process that sits outside the house. At the Managed level, staff oversee a peer-led household while residents keep their own outside clinical providers.

Applying to This Beckman Street Recovery Residence

An application goes through the operator. Ask what the weekly fee is for one of three beds, how the relapse and discharge policy reads, and how a complaint is escalated past the house itself.
