Yosemite House Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Yosemite House is a women's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, and it serves Franklin County under certification from Ohio Recovery Housing.

Recovery Housing in Ohio's Capital City

Columbus is the largest city in Ohio and the seat of Franklin County, with Ohio State University, John Glenn Columbus International Airport and COTA's bus network all inside its limits. A resident rebuilding a routine after treatment has a full city of transit, employers and outpatient providers to draw on, without needing a car on day one.

A Women's Sober Living Home With Six Beds

Six women live in the house at a time, and the single-gender arrangement covers every shared space: bathrooms, common rooms and house meetings. The small size means residents know each other, which is what makes peer accountability work in a house this size.

Certification at the Managed Level for This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies Yosemite House at the Managed level, combining peer leadership with outside oversight. The certification also carries a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of the house.

Franklin County Courts and Applying to This Sober House

The street address is not published, and placement runs through We Are Overcomers Inc. Franklin County's courts sit in Columbus, so a resident with an ongoing case can meet obligations without leaving the county. Ask about the weekly fee and the relapse policy directly when applying.
