The Honest Truth Men; Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The Honest Truth is a sober living home in Cincinnati, Ohio, serving Hamilton County, with certified housing for both men and women. It holds current certification from Ohio Recovery Housing.

Certified Sober Living for Men and Women

The organization maintains separate housing for men and women, so no resident shares a house, meeting or common space with the opposite gender. Keeping that split at the household level is what lets the same operator serve both populations under one certified listing.

What Ohio Recovery Housing Certification Requires of a Recovery Residence

Certification through Ohio Recovery Housing obligates a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed in writing before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that sits outside the house. Since the start of 2026 that certification and the state's own recovery housing registry are the same list, confirmed through Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services.

Recovery Housing in Cincinnati and Hamilton County

Cincinnati anchors Hamilton County with Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the Hamilton County Courthouse all inside city limits. That concentration of hospitals and courts is part of why so many certified residences locate in the city.

Applying to This Cincinnati Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Applicants should specify which household they are asking about, since the men's and women's houses run under separate day-to-day rules even though both hold the same certification.
