Ignatia House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Ignatia House is a men's sober living home in Chardon, Ohio, serving Geauga County. Ohio Recovery Housing certifies the residence at the Managed level, and it houses seven residents.

A Seven-Bed Certified Sober House for Men

Seven beds gives the household enough room that structure holds across more people, and the Managed level describes that structure directly: peer-run daily life with staff oversight and expectations set out in writing.

What Certification Establishes for This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing is the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and since the start of 2026 its certification and the state recovery-housing registry have been the same list. A certified home discloses fees and house rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house.

A Sober House in the Geauga County Seat

Chardon is the Geauga County seat, a small city built around its courthouse square northeast of Cleveland, with the county's main services concentrated inside city limits.

Applying to This Chardon Recovery Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator, Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers Inc. Ask what the weekly fee covers, whether a house manager lives on site, how the seven beds are assigned, and how a complaint reaches someone outside the house.
