Zahn C Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Zahn C is a men's recovery residence in Akron, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing, one of four Skypoint Recovery houses in Summit County.

An Eight-Bed Recovery Residence in Akron

Zahn C houses eight men, matching the largest of the operator's smaller houses. The population is men only, and the certification covers a single residence.

Recovery Housing Certification and What It Obliges

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies Zahn C at the Managed level: peer-managed daily life with staff oversight layered on top. The certification is not cosmetic. It commits the house to a written code of ethics, fee and rule disclosure before anyone moves in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that runs through Ohio Recovery Housing.

Summit County and the Akron Recovery Housing Market

Akron anchors Summit County with its courts, hospitals, the University of Akron and a transit network that reaches most of the surrounding suburbs without a car. Skypoint Recovery's decision to concentrate four certified homes in one city means residents dealing with the same county court or the same treatment providers are not forced to relocate to find a bed.
