The Oak Tree's sober living homes are located in close proximity to major highways, employment opportunities, recovery rooms, recreation, and shopping centers, as well as being convenient to the Asheville Airport. The Buncombe County Sports Complex is located directly across the street. It offers multiple soccer, football, and baseball fields, disc golf course, walking trails, picnic areas (covered and uncovered), and playground. All Guests upon arrival are provided with a membership to the local fitness club which includes free weights, cardio, and sauna. We also plan on several group outings to include sporting events, hiking/camping and rafting trips.
Guests at Oak Tree Recovery Homes come from all over the country to get a fresh start in a safe atmosphere where they can grow along with others in their recovery. Oak Tree prefers recovery applicants come directly from inpatient treatment centers. We also have individuals that transition from other recovery houses, as well as those who have been unsuccessful on their own and need the structure provided by Oak Tree Recovery Homes. We encourage guests at our sober living homes to work their chosen program of AA or NA consistently. Recovery is possible once you begin to follow suggestions and live by the principles of a 12-step program.
