Ovation Services Sober House

About this Sober House

Ovation Services operates a recovery residence in Butte, Montana, in Silver Bow County, one of a small number of sober living options in the city.

A Recovery Residence in Southwest Montana's Mining City

Butte is the seat of Silver Bow County and the largest city in southwest Montana, built on a mining economy that has given way to a mix of health care, education and service jobs. A recovery residence here puts a resident within reach of Butte's hospitals, outpatient providers and the courts that serve the surrounding county.

Registered Under Montana's Mandatory Recovery Residence Law

Montana requires every recovery residence, whether or not it holds voluntary certification, to register with the Department of Public Health and Human Services under Senate Bill 94. That registration is a matter of public record and the first thing worth checking on a residence like this one.

Sober Living in Silver Bow County

Southwest Montana's recovery housing is concentrated in Butte, and a resident coming out of treatment or incarceration in a smaller Silver Bow County community typically looks to the city first for the combination of housing, work and outpatient care a smaller town cannot support.

Before Applying to Ovation Services

Contact goes directly to the operator. Questions worth asking before moving in include what the residence costs, whether a house manager lives on site, what is expected around work or treatment attendance, and how the house handles a relapse or a resident who needs to leave.
