Rowan House Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Rowan House is a sober living home for women in St. Louis, Missouri. It is operated by S.W.I.M. (Strength, Wisdom, Inspire, Motivate) Ministries, Inc. and holds certification with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers.

A Women's Sober House in St. Louis

Rowan House serves women in recovery inside the city of St. Louis, an independent city that functions as its own county and carries the largest concentration of hospitals, courts and outpatient treatment providers in the eastern half of the state.

What MCRSP Certification Establishes in Missouri

Missouri does not require a sober home to certify. S.W.I.M. Ministries has certified Rowan House through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers anyway, which commits the house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and outside review of any complaint.

What to Ask Before Moving Into This St. Louis Sober House

Certification means a prospective resident is owed written answers on the questions that decide fit: what the weekly fee covers, whether a house manager lives on site, how bedrooms are assigned, and what happens after a relapse. Ask for those answers before signing.

Recovery Housing in the City of St. Louis

St. Louis carries the deepest network of outpatient providers, sober living options and social services in eastern Missouri, and a certified women's house inside the city puts residents within reach of nearly all of it without needing a car.
