About this Sober House
Campbell House is a certified sober living home for women on Campbell Avenue in Revere, Massachusetts, in Suffolk County. AmericaSober operates the newly renovated residence and holds NARR Level II certification through the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing for the property, which MASH's registry lists at a capacity of twenty-seven women.
A Women's Sober House in Revere
Campbell House is AmericaSober's only property set aside for women, serving up to twenty-seven residents in a newly renovated house with easy access to public transportation. A live-in house manager and an assistant manager oversee day-to-day life, including drug testing.
What MASH Certification Establishes
Certification through the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing commits AmericaSober to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules before move-in, and a relapse and discharge policy on file. It also opens Campbell House to a complaint process outside the operator.
Two Managers for a Larger House
At twenty-seven residents, Campbell House is larger than AmericaSober's other properties, and the operator staffs it with both a house manager and an assistant manager. That extra layer of on-site coverage scales with the size of the household.
Revere's Access to Boston and Logan Airport
Revere sits in Suffolk County just north of Boston and Logan International Airport, giving residents access to the city's job market and to entry-level airport and hospitality employment nearby. Public transportation connects the house directly into downtown Boston.
AmericaSober's Massachusetts Houses
Campbell House is one of four sober living homes AmericaSober runs in the state. Maverick House, in East Boston, Summer House, in Lynn, and Soberfit, in North Falmouth, all serve men, making Campbell House the operator's sole address for women.
Sober living homes are group residences for people who are recovering from addiction. In most instances, people who live in sober homes have to follow certain house rules and contribute to the home by doing chores. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home.
OneSober
OneSober is dedicated to assisting men and women in their journey of recovery. If you are serious about your sobriety and want a safe and friendly place to continue your recovery, you will find it here. We are all related through a common disease and a deep desire to establish a new life based on self respect, integrity and dedication to substance free living while helping others.
We are a place for you to develop coping skills that will help you master the social and professional demands of society. We are a place for you to find peace and safety to function in a drug and alcohol free environment and you need to care for the house and yourself accordingly. You are responsible for your own actions. Accountability is a common value shared by the entire community. Willingness and cooperation are the basic requirements shared by all members.
The goal of OneSober is to be a zero tolerance community. That means if you make a decision to use alcohol or illegal drugs/substances, without a verifiable clinician's prescription, you will be subject to termination of your membership and immediate expulsion for the safety of yourself and the other members of the community.
House members support each other like a family, that is, a close group of individuals living and working toward a common goal: continued sobriety. You are responsible for maintaining an understanding of the defined rules, requirements, and practices necessary to ensure a clean and sober environment.
We expect members to attend school, work or do a combination of these things, which consists of a full day's activities. Recovery is the #1 priority above all else. We recommend that you attend A.A., N.A. or 12 STEP, religious meetings or clinical group therapy at least twice a week, have a sponsor and be working on your recovery because sobriety is our primary purpose.
