The houses run roughly 3,500 to 4,700 square feet, and bedrooms are around seventeen by thirteen feet, which is genuinely large for recovery housing and means shared rooms do not feel like bunks. For a man who has been in a crowded treatment facility or a jail dormitory, space of that kind is the first thing he notices.

The property carries more than bedrooms. There is a community hall with full media capability that hosts 12-step meetings on site, so residents can walk to a meeting on the coldest night of the year. A gym on the grounds is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office spaces with computers and Wi-Fi give residents somewhere to job hunt, take a class or handle court paperwork. The kitchens are modern and each house has a private back deck. Physical plant is rarely the deciding factor in choosing a sober house, and it is what makes a resident stay long enough for the rest of it to work.

Alongside its general men's sober living program, the operator runs a men's working professionals track. Clinical and Case Management Services Around the Sober House
The organization pairs housing with services a resident can use without leaving the network: therapy, case management, an intensive outpatient program, transition coaching, recovery care monitoring, and sober transport and escort. A man who arrives with nothing arranged can have a clinician, a case manager and a ride to his first appointment set up in the same week. Residents who already have their own providers keep them.

Residents enrolled in this program will be expected to adhere to meet bi-weekly with New Pointsâ„¢ staff, who will always be on hand to offer guidance and recovery oversight. However, residents in this sober living program are expected to accomplish all goals and objectives independently.
