One Promise Transitional House Recovery House

About this Recovery House

One Promise Transitional House is a sober living home in Baltimore, Maryland, an independent city in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

A Transitional Sober House in Baltimore

This sober house is run by One Promise Transitional House, a certified operator whose name reflects the transitional model behind it: housing meant to carry someone from early recovery into independent living. Baltimore's size means outpatient providers, courts and job centers are all reachable without leaving the city.

Operated by a Certified Recovery Residence Provider

The house is operated by a certified operator under Maryland's Certification of Recovery Residences program, which requires disclosed fees, written house rules, and an outside complaint process. A transitional model still has to meet the same disclosure standard as any other certified residence.

Recovery Housing in Baltimore City

Baltimore City is home to one of the largest and most varied recovery housing markets in Maryland, and public transit through the Maryland Transit Administration covers most of it, keeping appointments reachable without a car.

What to Ask Before Moving Into This Baltimore Sober House

Ask how long a typical transitional stay runs, what the weekly cost covers, whether a manager lives on site, and what happens after a relapse. A certified operator should have written answers ready before move-in.
