Wichita Fellowship Club Coed Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Wichita Fellowship Club is a coed sober living home in Wichita, Kansas, in Sedgwick County, run as a self-supporting nonprofit built around Alcoholics Anonymous.

A Coed Sober House Built on the Fellowship

Wichita Fellowship Club describes itself plainly: an alcohol and drug-free house where people committed to sobriety actually live, alongside space for recovery-focused recreation. Every resident is expected to actively work an Alcoholics Anonymous program, and the house runs on what it calls a tough love approach, meaning accountability comes before comfort.

Self-Supporting by Design

The club funds itself through the residents who are employed and through community donations, and it prices its support at a flat one hundred dollars a week per resident. That structure keeps the house independent of outside grants and ties its finances directly to the people it houses.

Community and Meetings in Sedgwick County

Beyond housing, the club runs a Beginners Group meeting for people new to the program and hosts a weekly bingo fundraiser, giving residents a built-in social calendar inside a sober environment. Wichita is the seat of Sedgwick County and the state's largest city, putting the club within reach of the area's dense 12-step meeting schedule.
