Tee Lane House sits on the west side of Wichita, apart from the organization's cluster of houses near downtown, which gives residents there a quieter residential setting while keeping the same program. Furnished rooms, utilities and basic groceries are included, and men and women share the house under one set of rules.

Residents at Tee Lane House follow the same framework 2nd Chance Transition Living runs at its other houses: weekly Bible study and discipleship, random drug and alcohol testing, 12-step participation and help finding steady work. The structure is meant to hold for the length of a resident's stay, not just the first weeks.

West Tee Lane sits in a residential part of west Wichita, within Sedgwick County, the state's most populous county and the hub for most of south central Kansas's outpatient treatment and 12-step meetings. A car helps on the west side, though Wichita's bus routes reach the corridor.
