About this Recovery Home
Quad Cities Sober Living is a men's sober house on East Central Park Avenue in Davenport, Iowa, the seat of Scott County. It is private-pay transitional housing built around the twelve-step program, with live-in staff, furnished apartments and daily accountability for men in early recovery.
A Men's Sober House on East Central Park Avenue
East Central Park Avenue runs through Davenport's central neighborhoods, north of downtown and within reach of the city's employers, colleges and meeting schedule. Residents live in apartments instead of a dormitory, with shared or private bedrooms available. The apartments are fully furnished down to the details: bath towels, laundry baskets, sheets and pillows, coffee machines, kitchenware, cleaning supplies and paper towels are all supplied. A new resident brings clothing and groceries.
Live-In Staff and Daily Accountability in This Sober Living Home
Structure here is close and visible. Live-in staff set wake-up times and curfews, run daily check-ins, monitor required recovery meeting attendance, and administer frequent random drug and alcohol testing. Residents are expected to be occupied during the day, whether that means school, part-time or full-time work, volunteering, or outpatient treatment obtained elsewhere. The house asks for communication, and staff are on site to notice when it stops.

Private-Pay Recovery Housing in Scott County
This is a housing program. It offers no treatment and no therapy, and it works with no insurance companies at all. Residents pay privately, and the arrangement suits men who have already completed clinical care and now want a framework that holds while they rebuild. The founder came up through structured sober living himself, got sober in 2015, and managed sober housing on the West Coast for several years before opening the Davenport house. At present the operator houses men only, and a women's house is planned.
The Quad Cities Recovery Housing Corridor
Davenport is the county seat of Scott County and the Iowa anchor of a metro that spans the Mississippi into Illinois. For a man in recovery, the two-state layout is a practical asset: employment, outpatient providers and meetings exist on both banks, and a change of job does not have to mean a change of address. Anyone searching for a men's sober house in eastern Iowa is generally looking at Davenport, Bettendorf and the Illinois cities across the river as a single market.
