The Cochran Men's House Promise Of Hope Inc is currently offering 30 beds, providing structure, discipline, Biblical guidance, and 12-Step exposure, the program strives to utilize the therapeutic value of one addict helping another through the examples of staff and volunteers who have walked this way.
The foundation of the system is based on developing a personal relationship with Jesus. The education of addiction and recovery is broken down into a three-phase process. Promise of hope is also a work program, with the residents going to work after 30 days to full-time employment to offset program costs.
In September of 1999 the organization became a member in good standing with Georgia Association of Recovery Residences. This accreditation states that the ministry provides appropriate services for individuals who suffer from chemical dependency. In 2002 the organization was accredited by Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
