Life in a recovery residence can be a new and confusing experience. To minimize the stress involved in early recovery, Perimeter Recovery Residence utilizes a community-based model that enables clients to function in a constructive and supportive atmosphere. We believe that living cooperatively with other recovering men in this type of environment is the most effective way to practice sober living skills. New residents are introduced to this style of living upon arrival at Perimeter Recovery Residence when they are provided with a "buddy" from the community. At Perimeter Recovery Residence, we provide a safe and structured transitional living program for drug- and alcohol-addicted individuals who are seeking long-term recovery.  While we recognize abstinence as the most vital component of any recovery program, we also make it our goal to define and present the lifestyle changes that are needed for permanent recovery.  We are not a treatment center or associated in any way with a hospital that provides medical care.
