Certification through the Georgia Association of Recovery Residences commits Covenant Community to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of its rules before a resident moves in, and a complaint process that runs outside the house itself. Georgia does not license recovery residences the way it licenses clinical facilities, so this certification, alongside the program's CARF accreditation, is the clearest external record a family can check.

Family Services Alongside Housing

The organization also runs a Families of Hope component, extending its work beyond the men actually living at the house to the families affected by their addiction and homelessness. That reach is unusual among sober houses, most of which focus entirely on the resident and leave family support to outside agencies.

Spring Street sits in Midtown Atlanta, inside Fulton County, close to the county's courts, shelters and the dense concentration of outpatient and social services that a downtown Atlanta address gives a program like this access to. For a man coming off the street, that density of services within walking distance is often the deciding factor in whether a program can actually help him stabilize.
