The Cleveland House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The Cleveland House is a men's sober living home in Hollywood, Florida, in Broward County, on Cleveland Street a short walk from the beach. The house has operated continuously since 2003.

A Men's Sober House Steps From the Beach

The Cleveland House describes its location as about 100 steps from the sand, and residents have access to a heated pool along with recreational activities including volleyball, fishing, yoga, and rollerblading. That kind of daily structure around activity, not just meetings, is part of what the house builds its routine around.

Nearly Two Decades in Hollywood, Florida

An operation running continuously since 2003 has outlasted a great deal of turnover in Broward County's sober living market. Daily twelve-step meetings anchor the program, and staff describe the model as affordable sober living with on-site support available around the clock.

A Second Cleveland House in Fort Lauderdale

The Cleveland House name also covers a men's residence in Fort Lauderdale, on the other side of Broward County. Both houses serve men exclusively, and a resident who starts at one has the option to ask about the other if a different setting or a change of scenery would help.

Broward County Recovery Housing on the Coast

Hollywood sits in Broward County, whose seat is Fort Lauderdale, and its beachfront location gives The Cleveland House a setting many inland sober houses in the county cannot offer. The city's Intracoastal Waterway crossings and coastal bus routes keep residents connected to the rest of the county without requiring a car.
