About this Recovery House

Project SOAR Recovery Residences - NW 32nd Avenue is a men's sober living home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in Broward County. The address sits at the western edge of 33311, near where Fort Lauderdale meets Lauderhill and Plantation.

A Men's Sober House on the Western Edge of Fort Lauderdale

Northwest 32nd Avenue is a north to south corridor through the western neighborhoods, close to Broward Boulevard and Sunrise Boulevard and served by county bus routes on all three. Residents are men. This part of the county holds the warehouse, landscaping, food service and construction employers that hire steadily, and a house sitting inside that employment band gives a resident a realistic path to a first paycheck within the thirty days that matter most.

A Nonprofit Sober Living Operator With Fifteen Years in Broward

Project SOAR has run men's houses in the Fort Lauderdale area since 2010 and incorporated as a nonprofit on February 10, 2025. The combination is a useful signal. An operator with that much time in one county has been through hurricane seasons, code enforcement, neighbor complaints and staff turnover, and the nonprofit conversion says the organization intends to outlast whoever currently runs it.

Recovery Housing Across the Fort Lauderdale and Margate Cluster

Thirteen addresses carry the operator's name, eleven in Fort Lauderdale and two in Margate. Most of the Fort Lauderdale houses sit inside the 33311 blocks, with two more on the northeast side in 33304. A resident who starts on the west side and later wants a different household usually does not have to leave his job or his meeting schedule to get one.

What to Confirm Before Moving Into This Recovery Home

Confirm the weekly rate and what it covers, the room type, whether a manager sleeps in the house, the curfew, the discharge policy and the position on prescribed medication for opioid use disorder. Florida certifies recovery residences voluntarily through the Florida Association of Recovery Residences, and its standards are a reasonable checklist even when a house is comparing itself against them informally. Ask the operator where this specific address stands.
