More about the sober house
The Bridge, with multiple locations in upscale neighborhoods in both Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Florida, was founded in 2000. Our facilities accommodate both men and women at separate locations, in residential apartment, villa, and single-family home-style settings. All of our residences are fully furnished and have complete granite kitchens, stainless steel appliances, large flat-screen cable TVs, wireless Internet, telephone service, as well as laundry facilities on each property. Bedrooms are either single rooms or are shared with one other person. Each apartment, villa, and home can comfortably accommodate three to five individuals. We believe that having fewer residents in each home provides a much more comfortable and supportive atmosphere for our community.
Within a few blocks of our residences are 12-Step meetings, job opportunities, supermarket shopping, shops, restaurants, public transportation, and fitness centers. In the Delray Beach, Boca Raton area, there are hundreds of 12-Step (AA & NA) meetings each week. We are very fortunate to have such a strong recovery community in this locale.
Residents are required to make a commitment to regular attendance at 12 step recovery meetings, obtain a sponsor, and choose a homegroup. All residents are required to stay drug and alcohol-free, keep their apartments clean, be home by curfew and follow our guidelines. We embrace a step-down process where the individual works from a more restrictive towards a less restrictive structure.
