Tava House is certified through Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado and describes itself as a luxury men's transitional recovery residence, with queen-sized beds, private bathrooms and Rocky Mountain views built into a program that otherwise runs on clinical structure.

Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado is the state's approved certifying body, and certification requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a complaint process outside the house.

Clinical Therapy Through a Partner Provider

Residents receive Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy through Pikes Peak Therapeutic Services, the program's clinical partner, while Recovery Nexus handles housing, meals and daily structure. Three daily meals are prepared by private chefs using locally sourced ingredients, and the program builds in experiential work aimed at processing emotional issues alongside practical reintegration skills for school, career and daily life.

Founded on Personal Recovery Experience

The program was built by a team with more than a decade of collective sobriety between them, and CEO and Clinical Director William Bunnett, a licensed professional counselor, leads its clinical direction.

Colorado Springs is the seat of El Paso County and Colorado's second-largest city, giving Tava House residents access to Pikes Peak-area outpatient providers, employers and the mountain recreation the program builds into its experiential component.
