LIVING SOBER IN SOBER LIVING We don't expect you to have your new living situation completely figured out by day two. Our staff, volunteers, and other residents will help you get settled and help you figure out the finer details of things you want to put into place to foster your sustained recovery. “Rome wasn't built in a day.” It was built over time, by a team. The family environment at Zen Mountain is very supportive. Everyone helps everyone else and there is nothing we can't accomplish together. THREE PHASE STRUCTURE Phase I Phase I lasts at least four to five weeks following admission. Only a House Manager or Staff can move Clients on to Phase II. To move onto the next phase of the Program, Clients are required to: - Attend a minimum of six recovery meetings/recovery activities per week for at least four weeks. We are all-pathway friendly and encourage a wide variety of meetings and other recovery support. - Find and start working with a recovery mentor of some kind (sponsor, recovery coach, life coach or spiritual leader). - Establish a fellowship home group that you attend at least once a week. - Build a regular productivity schedule. All Clients must be working, volunteering, attending school, participating in IOP, or any combination of those four at least 30 hours each week. - Inform the House Manager of all commitments, errands, and activities prior to leaving the house. - 9pm curfew seven days a week. Your House Manager may give you an extension if the request is reasonable and by advocating for yourself. - Adhere consistently to the expectations of the house. Phase II After satisfying all requirements above, Clients are given additional privileges. - Curfew moves to general curfew: 11: 30 p.m. (unless you are working) You may apply for extensions. - You may take up to a total of two overnights per week. - You may come and go as you please from the house. You will still be expected to sign in and out but will no longer have to clear your daily schedule with your House Manager. Phase III After a Client achieves one year of continuous abstinence, additional privileges may be given. PRICING & WHAT'S INCLUDED Most of the expenses of household living are included in your monthly fee except for food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. Here are some of the items that will be provided free of charge:​ - Wi-Fi - Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu - Wireless printer/scanner access - Desktop computer access/use - Water - Electricity & gas - Trash service - Pool access (at select locations) - Toilet paper & paper towels - Hand soap & dish soap - Dish-washing detergent - Bed linens, blankets, and pillows - Bath towel set - Laundry detergent - Cleaning supplies - Drug and Alcohol Monitoring
