CARS - Wabash 2 Recovery House

About this Recovery House

CARS – Wabash 2 is a certified sober living home in Aurora, Colorado, in Arapahoe County, run by Colorado Addiction Recovery Services.

Certified Recovery Housing Under ORH-CO

This residence is certified through Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado, the body the state recognizes for recovery residence certification. Colorado does not publish a street address for this listing; applicants go through Colorado Addiction Recovery Services, which places residents at the specific home once accepted.

From Treatment Into Sober Living

Colorado Addiction Recovery Services runs residential addiction treatment in Aurora in addition to its certified sober living homes, and this residence is one of several the operator maintains for clients moving out of that treatment program. Keeping housing and treatment under one operator means a resident's case history and relationships do not reset at discharge.

Medication-Assisted Treatment Accepted

Residents on medication-assisted treatment are supported at this sober living home. Acceptance of MAT is not universal among certified recovery residences in Colorado, and it is worth confirming directly with any operator before assuming a house allows it.

Recovery Housing in the Aurora Area

Aurora is the largest city in Arapahoe County and one of the largest in the Denver metro area, with a recovery housing market shaped by its size: multiple certified operators, several outpatient treatment providers, and RTD transit connecting Aurora to the rest of the metro area.
