Carla Vista – Liberty Coed Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Carla Vista - Liberty is a certified sober living home in Aurora, Colorado, in Arapahoe County, operated by Carla Vista CO, LLC, a company that has run gender-specific recovery housing in the city since 2008.

A Gender-Specific Sober House in Aurora

Carla Vista keeps every house it runs gender-specific, so residents share bedrooms, bathrooms and house meetings with people of the same gender. The company builds its program on a 12-step foundation, peer accountability and a structured daily routine, the model it has used across its Aurora houses since founding.

What Certification Through ORH-CO Establishes

This house is certified through Ohio Recovery Housing - Colorado. Certification requires the operator to disclose fees and house rules in writing before move-in, keep a documented relapse and discharge policy, and remain open to complaints reviewed outside the house, a real check for anyone comparing housing options in Aurora.

Medication-Assisted Treatment Support

Carla Vista CO supports medication-assisted treatment across its recovery residences, so a resident maintaining a prescribed medication for opioid use disorder is not turned away because of it.

A Long-Running Aurora Recovery Housing Provider

Sixteen years in, Carla Vista CO is one of the more established sober living operators in Aurora, and the company describes integrity, structure and service as the principles behind its houses. Applications for this house go through the operator directly.
