Shangri La House Sober House

About this Sober House

Shangri La House is a certified sober house in Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa County. Phoenix Sober Living manages the house and holds its Level 2 Arizona Recovery Housing Association certification.

A Sober Living Home Along Phoenix's Canal System

Shangri La House sits in a part of Phoenix threaded by the city's historic canal network, whose paths give residents a walkable route through the neighborhood without needing a car for every errand. Walkability is a small thing that adds up during the first months of sobriety, when a car is not always realistic yet.

What Level 2 AzRHA Certification Covers

Level 2 certification from the Arizona Recovery Housing Association describes peer-managed housing with a resident manager on site and structured daily expectations, backed by a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a documented relapse and discharge policy subject to outside review. Certification in Arizona is voluntary, which makes it a genuine signal rather than a formality.

A Maricopa County Recovery Residence

As the seat of Maricopa County, Phoenix gives Shangri La House residents a wide base of outpatient providers, county behavioral health services and community colleges within the same metro area.

One of Twelve Phoenix Sober Living Houses

Shangri La House operates under the same admissions and fee policies as the rest of the Phoenix Sober Living portfolio. Prospective residents apply through the operator directly, and current fees and the house's gender policy should be confirmed with Phoenix Sober Living.
